MUS 302 - History of Western Music: 1750 - Present (3 cr.)


Study of style, form, genre, compositional techniques, representative composers, and repertoire from the Classic and Romantic periods through the Modern era. Attention is given to the relation of music to the culture and social institution of each period. Extra-class listening laboratory time assigned.
