HDF 314 - Mental Health Issues in Human Services (3 cr.)

Overview of mental health issues, including the meaning of common classifications, policy issues as well as the effect of the community response on the individual with mental disorder. The role of the human service professional in working with individuals and families affected by mental disorders.
