PSY 443 - Psychopathology (3 cr.)


A study of psychopathology - patterns of behavior, cognition, and/or experience that are considered disordered or unhealthy. Emphasis is placed upon the contributions of biological, psychological, social, and sociocultural factors to form an integrated understanding of psychopathology of individuals and groups. Approaches to treating psychopathology are also addressed, including both psychosocial and biomedical treatments.
