EDU 130 - Social Justice in Education (3 cr.)

Teacher candidates will explore the ethical and practical dimensions of teaching in a diverse society recognizing that students and families bring various identities and experiences to the classroom community. Candidates will be expected to examine and develop awareness of attitudes, beliefs and biases to cultivate inclusive, student-centered learning environments and relationships. (Minimum of 10 hours of field experience.)
