CRI 325 - Serial Killers (3 cr.) This course explores serial killings, spree murders, and mass murders, highlighting their differences and examining various causes, including biological, psychological, sociological, and criminological perspectives. Students will analyze how media coverage of serial killings has evolved since the late 1960s and its impact on public perception and crime control policies. Through case studies and discussions, the course offers a comprehensive understanding of the motives, behaviors, and societal effects of these violent acts.
