EDU 530 - Teaching Science and Social Studies (3 cr.)

This course provides fundamental experience in elementary science and social studies pedagogy as described by current research and practice, with a focus on an inquiry approach. Aligned with the New York State Standards, it focuses on building a foundation for the teaching and learning of science and social studies in elementary classrooms.
Prerequisite(s): Matriculation in MST Childhood Education program
