CSM 422 - Strategic Cybersecurity Management (3 cr.)

All organizations, regardless of size, need to implement cybersecurity best practices to protect their most critical assets. This course covers strategies and management practices used to secure organizations against cyber threats. Topics include developing and implementing effective cybersecurity policies and procedures, assessing risks and vulnerabilities, and responding to security incidents. Students will learn security standards such as the ISO 27000 series, COBIT 5 and security maturity models.
Prerequisite(s): MIS 302, CSM 412.
