SPA 151 - Spanish for the Professions (3 cr.)

This course is a continuation of SPA 111  . Its main goals are to develop and reinforce elementary skills in the linguisticareas of listening, speaking, reading and writing and to provide future professionals with basic communicative tools tointeract in their working environment. This course will be particularly useful for students in Nursing, Social Work, andBusiness-related majors, but students from any major who have the prerequisites are welcome. Taught in Spanish.

Prerequisite(s): SPA 111 , or 2-3 years of Spanish in high school or placement by exam or POI.
