ENG 161 - Introduction to Reading Fiction (3 cr.)

Students will read texts that highlight the variety of the fiction genre, such as short stories, novellas, flash fiction, graphic novels, and novels. They will learn how to analyze fiction, using the terminology of literary criticism, thus gaining a deeper appreciation of what fiction can offer the reader.
