ENG 160 - Introduction to Poetry (3 cr.)

An introduction to how poetic form and meaning.  An examination of the design of poetry, its conventions, history, and craft.  Special attention is paid to poetic devices such as meter, rhyme, figurative language, rhetoric, and sound.
