EDU 335 - Methods of Math and Technology (6 cr.) This course provides fundamental experience in mathematics pedagogy as described by current research and practice. Aligned with the standards for mathematical practice outlined in the New York State Next Generation Mathematics Learning Standards, it will focus on building a foundation for the teaching and learning of elementary school mathematics. (Minimum of 25 hours of clinical experience.) Prerequisite(s): EDU 240 ; MAT 113 or EDM 113 and matriculation in B.S. Childhood Education or B.S./M.S.Ed Childhood Education and Special Education.
