CMM 233 - PSTV Production (3 cr.)

A hands-on experience as a working member of a television station. Students will be required to perform as a technical crew member and/or on-air talent in the operation of a television station; out of class, evening production time required. In addition, students will evaluate PSTV programming each week by breaking down program content and production value. Critical evaluation of each program will be discussed and suggestions implemented to improve the production and program experience. May be taken twice for a total of 6 credits. Class meets one day a week for training, lectures and show evaluations and two nights a week for productions.
