BIO 354 - Pathophysiology (3 cr.) Physiology of human disease, with emphasis on molecular and cellular mechanisms within a problem-solving approach to develop cognitive skills appropriate for the health care sciences. Examination of the concepts of homeostasis, dysfunction and definition of disease, followed by a survey of diseases affecting all major organ systems, including cardiovascular, endocrine, nervous, musculoskeletal, urinary, digestive and respiratory systems.
