ANT 325 - Archaeology of Latin America (3 cr.) This course will focus on the ancient people of Latin America from the earliest occupations of humans in the Americas to the Colonial Period. Topics will be organized by regions: Caribbean, Mesoamerica, Central America, and South America. By looking at Latin America we can begin to understand the cultures across 16 thousand years and 20 million square kilometers, so we can better understand our own place and the role Latin America has in the world.
