BIO 217 - Medical Terminology for Health Care Providers (3 cr.)

This course provides an understanding of the terminology used in the stepwise process of evaluating a patient, starting with subjective symptoms, followed by objective exam and test findings, and finally, a review of treatment options for many of the common disorders. This process is described in the context of an ill and/or anxious patient, who may not be able to provide accurate subjective data.
