HIS 104 - American Narratives (3 cr.) History advances social justice not only by studying social justice movements, but by consciously creating narratives of the past that highlight the contributions of historically underrepresented communities and individuals. Each section of American Narratives goes deeply into a particular aspect of American society and its place in the sweep of the nation’s history, with special attention to using critical thinking skills to understand and advance social justice in a historical framework. Liberal Arts Cardinal Core Curriculum Category: U.S. Identities Semester(s) Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
