ART 401 - Illustration II (3 cr.) This course is a continuation of the study and practice of illustration, embracing a variety of media and techniques. A number of illustration projects will be completed, these assignments will be established at the beginning of the semester and will be arrived at specifically to address the student’s particular interest of focus. An emphasis is placed on a synthesis of technical proficiency and aesthetic sensitivity in solving specific visual problems using a pictorial language. Course includes a review of illustration in a historical and contemporary context. Liberal Arts Prerequisite(s): ART 307 Semester(s) Offered: Spring
