MAT 404 - Linear Programming (3 cr.)

An introduction to the methods and applications of linear programming. Both the mathematical ideas involved in linear programming and their economic and business interpretations will be stressed. Topics include the simplex algorithm and tableaux, the two phase method, duality, the dual simplex algorithm, sensitivity analysis, transportation problems and tableaux, and network flow problems.
