SOC 203 - Introduction to Social Justice (3 cr.) This course is a survey of the history and current context of social justice issues in the US. Based on a sociological foundation, the course addresses power and privilege as they are manifested in social systems. The course focuses on the impact of systemic inequalities in the US, but also places these dynamics within a global context, particularly in relation to global social justice struggles and social movements.
