EXP 381 - Rock Climbing III (3 cr.)

The second of two intermediate rock climbing courses, EXP381 teaches the concepts and practices that are required for use of artificial protection in top-rope construction and participation in multi-pitch rock climbs. The process of becoming a safe, capable, and responsible “second,” requires understanding of the complete multi-pitch process. This course prepares students to assume the role as lead rock climbers.
Prerequisite(s): POI.
