ENV 101 - Introduction to Environmental Science (3 cr.) Environmental science is fundamental to addressing some of the most pressing societal challenges of the 21st century and beyond. In this course, students learn fundamentals of how natural environments function and the ways humans affect the physical, chemical, and biological processes. Through topics such as climate change, water and air pollution, agricultural practices, and energy use, students explore how our actions can lead to environmental degradation OR the conservation and sustainable use of environmental resources.
