CSC 123 - Scientific Simulation and Modeling (3 cr.) Introduction to the use of simulations for scientific study. Students will design experiments and employ the scientific method in the context of simulations in a specific natural science (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics, etc). A programming language will be used as a means to formally describe and solve domain specific problems that have a global impact.
