CLG 517 - Group Counseling (3 cr.)


This course is designed as an introduction to group work that will cover group purpose, process, and practice.  It will provide both theoretical and experiential understandings of group counseling methods and types of groups utilized in counseling.  Group ethics, development, dynamics, theories, intervention methods and skills, and awareness of other group approaches in a multicultural society will be explored.

Prerequisite(s): Majors only; CLG 505 .
