ANT 303 - Sexuality and Culture (3 cr.) Cross-cultural perspectives on sexual expression and practices, including an examination of sexual attitudes and behavior in contemporary cultures. Goals of this course include investigating the degree to which, and the ways in which, human sexuality and gender are culturally constructed and patterned. This course will introduce students to the basic methods and concerns of the social sciences, focusing primarily on the relationship of the individual to society and the institutions and beliefs that shape sexual behavior.
